Brief
History and story about this Annual Cancer Benefit Poker Run... In
2010 Marie found out she had breast cancer and it was just shortly after the dignosis
she had to have a double mastectomy. Then it was the chemo, radiation treatments,
the loss all of her beautiful hair, and the racking up of several bills because
she was unable to work. Through out this devistating ordeal Marie kept a positive
attitude and outlook. Her smile and faith outshined the dark news from the doctors.
She was an inspiration to everyone who crossed her path. Her heart goes out for
anyone with cancer. The words that she shares with fellow cancer survivors come
from her personal experience of joys and sorrows through her battle.
This
year the Marie's Cancer Benefit - Poker Run proceeds will go to help out a local
family affected by prostrate cancer that has gone through many of the struggles
that Marie went through. Please come out and show your compassion & support
on Saturday, July 30, 2010 (Rain Date August 6).

& passengers with tickets who paid for their tickets to participate in the
ride). We'll also have stuff for sale, chances to win door prizes, and plenty
